Last night, The Brahmarettes dropped their district opener
to Hitchcock by a final score of 74-33. Scoring for the Brahmarettes was Julia
Janczak with 11, Cheslee Karasek with 8, Deedee Smith with 7, Blair Berry with
3, Jessica Rabius with 2, and Emily Kurtz with 2. The Brahmarettes are now 9-5
on the season and will continue district play at home on Friday night. Game
schedule is as follows;
5:00 – JV vs Danbury
6:15 – Varsity vs Danbury
7:30 – Freshman vs Sealy
The J.V.
girls struggled in their District opener in Hitchcock last night and were
defeated 28-44. The leading scorer for the Brahmarettes was Paige Nixon with 9
pts. Also scoring were Taylor Bottoms-8pts., Camryn Whitley-5 pts., McKenna
Novicke-4 pts., and Zoey Talas-2 pts. The J.V. and Varsity will host Danbury on
Friday at home and the Freshmen will host Sealy.

team is 8-3 on the season and 0-1 in District.
