The Brahmarettes traveled to Tidehaven to compete in the
Tigerette tournament this morning and came away with two well-earned victories.
The first game of the morning featured East Bernard vs. Columbus. The
Brahmarettes used tough defense to earn the victory 58-40. Scoring for EB was
Julia Janczak with 17, Jessica Rabius with 16, Cheslee Karasek with 15, Deedee
Smith with 6, Logan Goudeau with 2, and Mackensi Muzik with 2.
The second game of the day featured EB vs Palacios. Again,
the brahmarettes were victorious this time by a score of 44-37. Leading the
charge for the Brahmarettes was Julia Janczak with 17, Cheslee Karasek with 12,
Jessica Rabius with 5, Deedee Smith with 4, Emily Kurtz with 2, Mackensi Muzik
with 2, and Lexi Marik with 2.
The two wins improve the Brahmarettes overall record to 4-1
on the season. They will be back in action in Tidehaven on Saturday morning at
9:00 against Columbia.
