The East Bernard girls basketball team opened up their
season last night playing host to Bellville. The Brahmarettes used tough
defense to come away with a 47-38 victory. Leading the scoring for the
Brahmarettes was Mackensi Muzik and Jessica Rabius with 13, Cheslee Karasek
with 10, Julia Janczak with 7, and Emily Kurtz with 4. Standouts on defense
were Erin Dawson, Logan Goudeau, and Deedee Smith. The Brahmarettes will be
back in action tonight as they host Sacred Heart, Jv begins at 5:00 with varsity
to follow.
