EBHS Mighty Brahma Band Edna Invitational Pre UIL Marching Contest Results

Our first contest went really well Saturday. We were at the Edna Invitational pre UIL Marching Contest.


We received overall scores of a 1, 2, 2 from the judges. Next week at UIL marching contest we need a minimum of 1, 1, 2. All the judges said we are very close and can bring up the gap with some focused rehearsals this week.


Our overall Ranking was 5th out of 12 3A Bands that performed beating all except Industrial, Hitchcock, Palacios, and Skidmore-Tynan.


Our Colorguard came in 3rd under Industrial and Palacios and our percussion came in 5th.


Overall the kids did a great performance and came back with a great feeling of accomplishment. They have a lot of work to do this week detailing things out but we are way closer to advancing to Area than we ever have been in the past.


Our next competition will be this Saturday in El Campo as we attend the ATSSB Region 13 UIL Marching Contest. We perform at 11:45am. Go Mighty Brahma Band!!!
