Cheer Mini-Camp Underway & Finale Performance TONIGHT!

The EBISD Cheerleaders are finishing up their last day of mini-camp. We had nearly 150 girls participate and believe me, there is A LOT of spirit in that group. Thank you to the cheerleaders, sponsors, and volunteers for a successful camp once again and more importantly, thank you for building the EB spirit in our youth. The finale performance will be at 6:30pm tonight at Memorial Stadium.

EB Volleyball Camp a Success!

The 2017 Brahmarette Volleyball camp for 3rd-6th graders concluded last week and it was a big success. Thank you to all of the volunteers, high school volleyball girls, coaching staff, and new Head Coach, Coach Lolley, for another great summer camp where the girls improve their skills, have fun, and build a passion for EB Volleyball.

EBHS Might Brahma Band Members Prepare for Upcoming Marching Season

Last week we had a fantastic drumline summer
worship here at East Bernard. The new drumline members for this year
came up each day Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm to work the
stand jams and show music for this upcoming year. They did some
amazing work and we learned the entire marching show. Now to start the
cleaning process of making each note precise and clean.

Also, the Drum Majors of the Mighty Brahma Band Zach Cheatham and David
Martinez had a great co-op leadership session on Saturday 7/15 with
the Sealy and Brazos drum majors. It was cooperatively led and taught
by the directors of the area. Students learned a lot about themselves
and their neighboring drum majors in how to lead for success.

 

EBHS Band Flag Corp Holds Summer Spin Color Guard Camp Exhibition Tonight at 5

The Summer Spin Color Guard camp is coming to a close today. Come by
at 5pm in the Jr High gym to see all the hard work the kids have been
doing this week. Free exhibition performance for anyone.

EBISD Kids never Stop

Summer never means STOP for EBISD kiddos. Our flag team has summer camp going on this week while our FFA group has arrived in Corpus Christi for their summer convention and already completed their community service. All of our fall sports are hitting the weight rooms and running work outs and our band will soon be cranking up again. Our spirited cheerleaders at both EBJHS and EBHS have successfully completed their own level camps and brought home some serious hardware. The EB 7 on 7 football team competed well in the heat of the summer at the state tournament in College Station last weekend. Throw in a hot, but strong summer track season, camp for our talented journalism students, and a trip to Fiesta Texas for our Read to Succeed students and you can see that we just about covered all the bases this summer. In the next two weeks, mini-cheer camp, volleyball camp, and football camp will be here and just a few more weeks after that our volleyball, football, and cross country season will be kicked off to the fine tunes of band two a days. Forms turned in by 6-7 will ensure a camp T-Shirt. Registration allowed after that date, but are not guaranteed a camp shirt. Registration accepted first day of camp.
