This week has been a busy week for EB FFA. On Monday, the Wildlife team placed 9th at the Area 3 FFA Wildlife Contest, narrowly missing a qualifying spot for the state contest. This was one of the hardest wildlife contests that I have seen. The team consisted of Marissa Macha, Jonah Korenek, and TJ White. Marissa scored a 92, outscoring other schools complete team of 3 students.
Tuesday, we traveled to Sam Houston State University to compete in the Farm Business Management and Ag Mechanics Area contests.
The Farm Business Management team of Chloe Howard, Baylee Jankowski, Reagan Whitley, and Lindsey Matej. They placed 5th as a team and qualified for the State Contest on April 28th. In 5 years of training and competing in this contest, this particular test was the hardest one I have ever seen, including state contests.
The Ag Mechanics team of Jonah Korenek, Jared Fuechec, Colton Hundl, Jacob Minks placed 3rd and qualified for the State Contest on April 28th.
Give these kids a pat on the back when you see them.
