EBHS Ag Mechanics Class Activities

The Ag Mechanics classes have been hard at work in the shop. Here is a peak at what we have been up to.

We learned how to draw plans, use various power tools, and read a tape measure. To wrap the unit up we built some wooden toolboxes. Some students chose to burn their toolboxes to highlight the woodgrain while others were planning to paint or stain it on their own.

Students have learned about plumbing and have built a water sprinkler and then tested it for leaks.

Students worked on electrical wiring boards, where they are learning to wire switches, plugs, and lights. We have tested their boards and determined any problems and then corrected them.

To finish off the semester, students are completing a scavenger hunt at Vacek's Hardware for items that they learned about and used this semester.
