EBHS Tennis Teams District Play Results
This week our Varsity and JV tennis teams competed in District play in Wharton. All of our boys and girls did an outstanding job against our district competitors.
Monday our JV Team finished as the District Champions and came home with a lot of hardware to show for it. Our Girls Singles: Sydney Campbell finished as the District Champ and Lauren Stolle finished in second place. Our Girls Doubles teams: Claire Coker and Lucy Talas finished as the District Champs and Mackensie Romero and Claudia Zapalac finished in fourth place. Boys Singles: Jonathan Boettcher came home as the District Champ and Josh Hlavinka finished in second place. Boys Doubles teams: Tyler Kellner and Jacob Guthman brought home the District title and Avey Srebalous and Blake Sainz finished in second place. Finishing out with our JV Teams was our Mixed Doubles: Faith Jenkins and Brent Vacek finishing in second place.
Monday our Varsity team competed through the semifinals and had 14 of the 16 team members continue into the District finals for Wed.
Yesterday our Varsity brought home the District Championships and left with 9 Regional Qualifiers.
Girls Singles:
Valori Prazak finished in 3rd place
Rachel Polak was our District Champion and is a Regional Qualifier
Girls Doubles:
Shelby Aschenbeck and Kirsten Cavness finished in 4th place
Megan Lee and Erin Cullers were our District Champions and are Regional Qualifiers
Boys Doubles:
Joshua Mica and Travis Cook finished in 2nd place and are Regional Qualifiers
Connor Dusek and Brent Babin were our District Champions and are Regional Qualifiers
Mixed Doubles:
Malynn Plunkett and Chase Stavinoha finished in 3rd place
Trevor Cook and Karen Johnston were our District Champions and are Regional Qualifiers
We will continue our Tennis program competing at A&M Consolidated for Regionals on April 20th -21st with 9 kids. Thank you for all the continued support of our East BernardTennis Team.

EBHS Varsity Baseball Vs Brazos Results
The Brahmas improved their district record to 4-2 last night by beating Brazos 5-2. This makes it four in a row for Brahmas after a slow 0-2 start.
Leading the charge for the good guys was Lane Kolafa with 3 hits and plating 3 runs. Scoring for the Brahmas were Ed Garza, Allen Anderson, and Matthew Tovar, who scored three times.
Ed Garza got the win pitching a complete game giving up 6 hits while inducing 13 ground balls and 8 fly balls to help the Brahmas secure the victory.
The Brahmas will be in action at home next Tuesday when they take on the Van Vleck Leopards at 7:30.
EBISD HS and JH Bands Score Excellently At Pre UIL Contest
The band kids both Junior High and High School competed at the Brazosport Pre UIL contest on Tuesday and Wednesday and came out with Second Division scores of excellent. Three weeks to detail it out and get that First Division Superior rating at UIL.
