Here are the results from our Region Band Auditions which were held in Edna this past Saturday morning.
We had 20 students attend and they were competing against 18 other schools 1A-3A.

Mariah Suarez 3rd chair Alto Clarinet in Region Band
Ashly Heimdal 3rd chair flute and advanced to Area
Lissa Blackert 4th chair flute and advanced to Area
Katelynn Leonards 4th chair euphonium and advanced to Area
Andrew Kubena 13th chair trombone and advanced to Area
Congratulations to them and to all the kids who went to compete. The following students who advanced get to attend the Region band clinic and concert in Sweeny on January 17-18 where they rehearse and hold a concert on the 18th.
