The freshmen girls’ basketball team defeated Palacios last night 28-16 to improve their record
to 4-2. Leading scorer for the Brahmarettes was AJ Navarro with 14 points. Also scoring were
Lindsey Matej-7, Baylee Jankowski-3, Hadley Carr-2, and Calyn Grymes-2. Other key players
were Randi Goates, McKenzie Wilkerson, and Valori Prazak.
The freshmen will be playing in the Halletsville tournament Thursday and Saturday.
