East Bernard volleyball had thier opening night Tuesday against Round Top at home. Varsity fell short losing 23-25, 22-25, 19-25. Round Top is always a great competitor for us. They didn't give up anything and we had a tough time stringing points together. Varsity will compete in the Columbus tournament starting on Thursday.
Kill leader was Ashley Dusek 8, Miranda Lehmann and Angelica Lopez with 4
Dig leader was Kelly Kubena 17 followed by Ashley Dusek with 16
Amanda Boettcher led assists with 14.
The East Bernard JV team won against Round Top 25-8, 25-20. The will compete in the Faith Academy Bellville on Thursday and Saturday.
