END OF COURSE EXAMS

For clarification, East Bernard High School, via local decision, will NOT be implementing the 15% for End of Course Exams into our semester averages for those students who take the EOC exams.

Until Spring 2012, Texas Education Agency had mandated all Texas schools make the 15% part of the semester averages; however, in late Spring 2012, they allowed districts to locally decide if they wanted to use the 15% or waive it.

EBHS waived its implementation then and has waived it again this year.  Our option is to waive it until the state makes it a mandate when/if that occurs again.  Call Ruth Ellen Sharp at extension 134 for questions.
