Brahmarette Basketball

The Brahmarette basketball team improved to 5-1 in district Friday night by beating Rice 42-35.  Terralyn Williams and Kaneesha Smith each scored 13 pts to lead the Brahmarettes.  Also, Kori Slanina with 6 pts; Angelica Lopez 6 pts; Kelly Kubena 2 pts and Brandy Babin 2 pts.

The JV Girls Basketball Team improved to 6-0 in District by defeating Rice 29-21 on Friday night. Top scorer was Rachel Polak with 7 pts. Others scoring for the Brahmarettes were Aliska Schmidt, Megan Lee and Samantha Rosales with 4 pts each, Brooke Boettcher with 3 pts, and  Maddie Stork, Hallye Mica and Katie Kubes with 2 pts each. The girls travel to Van Vleck on Tuesday and play at home on Friday against Danbury.
