The JV Brahmarettes got their 5th district win in as many tries last night defeating Brazos 33-17. Leading the scoring for the Brahmarettes were Aliska Schmidt with 9 pts, Bailey Hlavinka - 8 pts, Rachel Polak - 6 pts, Megan Lee - 4 pts, Brooke Boettcher - 2 pts, Samantha Rosales - 2 pts and Katie Kubes - 2 pts. The JV Brahmarettes are 5-0 in district and 12-3 overall. They travel to Rice on Friday starting at 5:00.
The Varisty Brahmarettes improved to 4-1 in district last night with a 53-23 victory over Brazos. Leading the Brahmarettes in scoring was Terralyn Williams with 24 pts followed by Brandy Babin - 12 pts, Kaneesha Smith - 6 pts, Amanda Boettcher - 4 pts, Angelica Lopez - 4 pts, Kelly Kubena - 2 pts, Courtney Clipson - 2 pts and Amber Matej - 1 pt. The Brahmarettes travel to Rice Friday night at 6:15 for the next district game
