Powerlifting Results
The EBHS Power Lifting Meet was held in East Bernard on Saturday, January 15th.
The Maroon team placed 3rd overall and the White team placed 10th.
The following lifters did well and placed at the meet:

Computer Night Offered
If you are a parent or student who needs help understanding the EBISD website, then the school can help. The Parent Involvement Committee and the technology department will hold a Computer Night on Monday, Jan. 10, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to give parents an opportunity to familiarize themselves with computer use, thus getting more involved in their student's success. A variety of different topics will be available for students and parents to choose from.
To help parents and students adapt to the new technology, the Parent Involvement Committee, along with the technology department at the school, has scheduled the second upcoming Computer Night to familiarize parents with computer use and the EBISD website.

Brahma Yearbook Honored
The 2010 Brahma Yearbook has been nominated by the UIL for a Star Award! The final winners will be recognized at the ILPC State Journalism Conference in April.

EB Rodeo Art Results - High School
CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS to the East Bernard High School Art students!!
Kylie Horelica and Haley Socha wonderfully represented EBHS at the show yesterday by receiving Best of Show (Kylie) and a Gold Medal (Haley)!!! They are both now eligible to participate in the HLSR
Grand Prix, which is the next and final step for the Grand & Reserve Champion selections. They may now also participate in a week long summer workshop at the Glassell School for Art AND the eligibilty to attend Western Art Academy (WAA).

Hayes Family Benefit
Hayes family benefit tickets on sale now! Schulze's Bar-B-Que will be catering the dinner on January 27, 2011, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8, and may be purchased from Ruth Ellen Sharp, extension 134 or from the Baptist Church office on Fitzgerald. The dinner will be bar-b-que brisket, sausage, potatoes, and beans, and will be at the EB cafeteria. You may come inside and purchase a dessert and put a bid on a silent auction item while you enjoy your dinner, or you may pick up your food in the drive-thru. All proceeds are for the Hayes family to defer D.J.'s and Aliyha's medical expenses.
PSAT Scores
PSAT test scores are in! Due to the fact that our test scores were damaged in transit in December, our test scores were delivered late to our school. PSAT test scores and information will be sent with the report cards. For any questions, please call Ruth Ellen Sharp, Extension 134.
