Cheerleaders from East Bernard, Texas
Many thanks to the East Bernard Varsity, JV, and Junior High
Cheerleaders who teamed up to raise $3557.00 for the Make-A-Wish®
Foundation!
What makes them so spectacular?
They raised a total of $9001.15 in the 3 years of Project NCA/NDA!They
are from a small town with a population of 2,500!They set goals, have
bake sales, sell mascot tattoos on game days, spirit pins, and other
items!East Bernard will receive a $500 check from NCA and their local
Make-A-Wish Chapter will also receive $500 from NCA to provide more
assistance for a "wish kid" in their area. They will also be
spotlighted on the NCA website and the National Cheerleaders
Association facebook page.
GREAT news for all NCA and NDA teams:Teams that host a Make-A-Wish®
fundraiser or service project anytime through the year should send the
Tracking Form and pictures to be posted on our Make-A-Wish® website
page!Teams that complete a fundraiser or service project for ANY
charitable organization can send pictures and stories to be posted on
our new Community Service page on our website!Teams can post pictures
on the National Cheerleaders Association facebook page anytime at
all!NCA and NDA are proud to be official sponsors of The Make-A-Wish
Foundation®, a nonprofit organization that grants the wishes of
children with life-threatening medical conditions. Endless
opportunities are waiting for teams nationwide to develop their
leadership potential while working on the most important team projects
