Computer recycling this Saturday!

The EBISD GreenTeam is in action this weekend!
If you have old computers, monitors or printers that are just gathering dust, bring them to the high school parking lot Saturday morning and we will recycle them for you. Remember, computers, monitors, and many electronics should not be put in landfills. They are not biodegradable and have hazardous parts that can contaminate the soil.
We will take your electronics to a company in Houston that rebuilds and reuses any salvageable items and recycles unusable parts in an environmentally correct way. They securely erase your hard drives when we deliver them so your information is safe. Many other electronic recycling programs end up just dumping whatever they can't reuse; the company we will use guarantees not to do that.
The costs for you are:

$10 per computer, laptop or monitor
$15 for a computer / monitor combination
No extra charge for wiring, speakers and mouse

This is a fund raiser for our organization. We are planning to use the money raised to pay for the recycling of old school computers and monitors which have been stacking up for years. Everyone has old monitors and computers sitting around that just get in the way. Clean out your closets and help us out at the same time! Tell your friends and family as well.
Time and place:

High School parking lot (next to Naiser Building)
9am - 1 pm Saturday May 21 (this Saturday!)

Thanks and have a green week!
