Class Descriptions...

"Apple iPads"  Learn what an iPad is and what it can do.  Will it replace the computer?  The laptop?  The netbook?  Discover some free and simple apps to help organize your classroom or your life.  Do  iPads have a place in education?

"Smart Phones"  What is a smartphone?  Is my phone dumb?  Learn what makes a smartphone smart and explore the different ways to use your phone's many features.  Whether you have a blackberry, an iPhone or an Android powered phone, we can show you how to access your e-mail, calendars and more.

"Blogging"  Use the "cloud" to store your thoughts and share them with others.  Whether you are writing articles for a local newspaper or just wanting to express yourself for a group of friends, a blog can be just what you need to get your voice heard.  Learn how to set up and publish stories to your own blog site and then share that site to the world or just a select group of friends.

"Google Documents"  Use Google Documents as an online alternative to Microsoft Office Titles such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  It's cloud computing and it's free!  Documents are stored online so they are available everywhere you have an internet connection.  Documents can be shared and even published online as a web page.

"Google Forms"  Use an online form to collect data from internet users.  The data automatically shows up as a spreadsheet in your Google documents.  Forms are easy to create and share with others using a web page or via e-mail.
